ART 385/L Children’s Crafts and Lab

This course teaches how to design and deliver meaningful craft experiences for children, focusing on educational value and 3D materials. We explore sustainability and environmental justice through artmaking and lesson planning for grades K-6. Students choose subtopics to inspire wearable upcycled fashion designs and accessories. They apply their research to curriculum design and art instruction to teach kids about sustainable living through fashion and environmental activism.
